Still, be ready to arm yourself with plenty of patience and supplies, because this project’s going to take a while.

List of Materials: 1x4 wooden boards; Sandpaper; Wood finish; Wood conditioner; Nail gun; Wood glue; Floral foam; Candles; Spanish moss; Mini pumpkins; Gourds; Wildflowers; Pinecones; Brushes

Put the wooden boards together to create a box.

Apply wood glue to the sides to hold them together.

Use a nail gun to secure the sides for a more secure fit.

Use sandpaper to flatten any rough edges.

List of Materials: Pumpkins (2 big ones and a smaller one should be more than enough); Wooden Tray; Glass jar; Wildflowers; Chalk paint; Brush; Wooden stick; Scissors

How to Make these Painted Pumpkins?

Prepare your workspace as you should take a few old newspapers and cover the table. We recommend doing this in the kitchen.

Wash the squash(s) and dry them with a clean cloth.

Open the chalk paint container and give it a good stir using the wooden stick.

Dip the brush in paint and then use it on each pumpkin.

Let the pumpkins dry for a couple of minutes.

Place the glass jar on a tray.

Use scissors to cut the stems of the wildflowers.

How to Make a Log Centerpiece?

Place the biggest pumpkin of the 3 on your work table as it will serve as the base. Then, remove its stem.

Using the glue gun, attach moss, leaves, and flowers on the side.

Insert three floral stakes near the place where the stem used to be.

Remove the stem of the second pumpkin.

Place the second pumpkin on top of the first one and push until the stakes are all the way in.

Glue the remaining moss and leaves to the side.

Insert floral stakes as described in step No. 3.

Place the remaining pumpkin on top of the other 2, but do this without removing its stem.

You can decorate the third pumpkin too, or just leave it as it is, and place your new pumpkin topiary on the table.
